AI for HR: Choose the Right Tools, Write Better Prompts, Work Smarter

This half-day workshop shows HR professionals how to use AI to get better work done faster without security risks or legal headaches.

You’ll compare leading tools like Copilot, ChatGPT and Gemini and learn modern prompting techniques to consistently improve output quality. See live demos of common HR tasks completed in minutes and have the opportunity to test your own prompts in a safe environment.

Learn how emerging AI and GenAI tools are reshaping HR and leave with clear guidance on safe use in line with data security and legal considerations.

After attending this course, you’ll be able to:

  • Explain what LLMS are (in plain English!) and which are most appropriate for use in HR and why.
  • Identify the differences between Copilot, ChatGPT and Gemini and choose the right AI tool for your HR team, including data risk and integration.
  • Modern prompting techniques to get stronger results regularly.
  • Complete five common HR tasks dramatically faster using ChatGPT or Copilot, whilst improving quality and consistency.
  • Deploy AI capability across your workforce, including sample rollout plans for training, guardrails and adoption.
  • Understand three emerging GenAI tools reshaping HR and how they can add value to your HR team and organisation.

This workshop will teach HR professionals how to fit AI into the work they already do, cutting admin and improving output without creating extra complexity.

Who is this event for?

HR professionals who are curious about using AI in their day-to-day work, not as an extra job, but as a way to cut down on admin and get better results. It’s for those who want a practical, no-nonsense view of how GenAI can be integrated into everyday HR tasks, whether you’re just getting started or already experimenting a bit.

Why should they attend this event?

This event is for HR professionals who want to use AI in their everyday work without adding to their workload. If generic AI training hasn’t felt relevant, this is different. It’s designed around real HR tasks and workplace constraints, so you’ll come away with repeatable ways to work faster while staying safe, accurate and compliant.

Learn from someone who trains HR teams on GenAI in the real world—focused on what works, what’s risky, and what actually saves time.
Barry Phillips is a qualified lawyer, trainer and coach. He’s trained hundreds of HR professionals on how to use GenAI at work and is the author of “ChatGPT in HR – A Practical Guide for Employers and HR Professionals.”
