Seamus McGranaghan qualified as a Solicitor in O'Reilly Stewart Solicitors in 2003 and practices mainly in the areas of education and employment law.
Seamus acts on behalf of many Boards of Governors and has assisted Senior Managers within Schools providing advices relating to both pupil, parent and employee related issues. Seamus also provides advocacy services for Boards of Governors on both Expulsion Appeals and Independent Admissions Appeal tribunals.
Seamus provides advices to the Association of School and College Leaders in Northern Ireland and is ranked in Chambers and Partners for both his Education and Employment expertise.
In addition to having contributed at Legal Island’s Education Updates since 2010, Seamus in association with Legal Island provides a live “Employment Law @ 11” webinar on the first Friday of each month, dealing with all aspects of Employment law affecting Northern Irish employers. Seamus has recently participated on the judging panel of OCN’s Learning Endeavour Awards.
