About Sarah Travers
Sarah Travers is a journalist and television presenter, perhaps best known for her role as anchor on BBC Newsline over a thirteen year period, where she also fronted the weekly Family Focus slot, Lifeline, The Balmoral Show and Children In Need. She began her career with BBC Radio Foyle, and then joined the Radio Ulster news bulletins team before her career in television. Sarah also presented ‘The Magazine’ programme on UTV. Alongside her work with Bespoke Communications, Sarah regularly hosts events and is part of the teaching team at The Verbal Arts School of Journalism. Sarah holds a degree in broadcast journalism from the Nottingham-Trent University
