About Peter Daly
Peter Daly is a partner at Doyle Clayton Solicitors. He specialises in claimant litigation and has acted in two of the most prominent philosophical belief cases of recent years: Casamitjana -v- League Against Cruel Sports, which established Ethical Veganism as a protected philosophical belief under the Equality Act 2010, and Forstater -v- CGD Europe, which established the same protection for gender critical and gender identity beliefs. He is currently acting for several gender critical clients pursuing claims of discrimination arising from their beliefs.
Peter qualified in 2009, and previously worked at Bindmans LLP and Slater and Gordon Lawyers. He is recognised in the directories for his work in discrimination and whistleblowing law. While his work concentrates on employment disputes, he also acts in County Court, High Court, regulatory and specialist tribunals as required.
