About Lisa Bryson
Lisa is a partner and leads the employment and immigration practice of the firm in Belfast.
Lisa has considerable experience of providing contentious and non-contentious employment law advice to private and public sector clients. She specialises in restructuring and TUPE work, major change programmes, executive severances and Industrial and Fair Employment Tribunal litigation. Lisa is an experienced Tribunal advocate and has appeared in numerous hearings both in Northern Ireland and England. Lisa advises clients across a broad range of sectors with a particular interest in the financial and professional services, retail, media and telecommunications, transport and logistics and manufacturing sectors.
Lisa’s activity regarding the immigration consequences of Brexit has included assessing future people-related risk caused to companies, managing communications, delivering training and answering queries from employees or HR teams. Lisa also works closely with the wider Eversheds Sutherland Immigration Team to support businesses wishing to move their workforce around the globe and recruit new employees to ensure that all legal requirements are met.
Lisa is an accomplished presenter and has spoken on a wide range of employment law and immigration topics. She recently formed part of a panel discussion facilitated by Mark Carruthers of the BBC to discuss the people and immigration aspects of Brexit for the Newry and Londonderry Chamber of Commerce.
