About Julie Galbraith
Julie is a Partner with Eversheds Sutherland who regularly advises clients on all aspects of the employment relationship from recruitment to termination. She works with public and private sector clients to draft employment contracts, service agreements and confidentiality agreements to best suit the needs of the organisation. Julie advises HR and business teams in relation to various policies such as disciplinary, grievance, performance management, equal opportunities, data protection and employee leave procedures. She also regularly represents organisations in front of the Workplace Relations Commission, the Rights Commissioner, the Employment Appeals Tribunal, the Equality Tribunal and the Labour Court.
Julie has particular expertise in proving strategic advice to multi-national companies on the employee implications of acquiring and selling businesses and of setting up new business in Ireland. Julie regularly spends time in-house on client secondments where she advises on specific projects. Such projects included an analysis of the TUPE implications throughout a tender process, an analysis of the use of atypical employees and a review of working time compliance.
Julie is a qualified solicitor in Ireland, England, Wales and also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association of Ireland.
