About David Cook
David has a decade of experience in advising on data protection and cyber security matters. His work mainly relates to contentious issues, such as breach incident response, but also frequently includes compliance advice.
Experience includes representing: clients alleged to have hacked high profile individuals as part of the Leveson Inquiry; a company named by the Information Commissioner in Parliament as having been involved in the manipulation of the vote in the Brexit referendum; and, some role in defining the legal response by the majority of corporate cyber security incidents that have made the newspapers (as well as many more that were never made public).
