About Breda O'Malley
Breda O’Malley qualified as a solicitor in 1996 with Hayes Solicitors, a medium sized city firm which specialises in employment, commercial, competition, media law, commercial property and medico-legal work.
Breda specialises primarily in employment and commercial law. Breda returned to Hayes (where she had trained as a solicitor) as a Partner in 2008 and continues to represent several blue chip multinational companies and public sector organisations on a miscellany of employment and commercial law issues including Transfer Regulations and related outsourcing, procurement, service provider changes and commercial transactions, complex workplace disputes and industrial relations matters.
Breda is an accredited Mediator and has mediated several workplace and commercial disputes. She is a Council Member of the Irish Commercial Mediators Association, the Mediators Institute of Ireland and One Resolve Mediators Panel and Breda has been the independent mediator (appointed by other law firms) for workplace and business disputes.
To reflect Breda’s commercial law acumen which she applies in conjunction with her employment law expertise, Breda has recently successfully completed a Diploma in Corporate Law & Governance and a Certificate in Commercial Contracts.
