Delivering Professional Workplace Investigations

Poor, low quality investigations lead to poor decisions and outcomes.

This is a highly interactive programme that includes trainer-led input, practical exercises, role plays, group discussions and case studies to equip you in managing and delivering high quality workplace investigations.

What are the learning outcomes?
You will be equipped to manage the full investigation process, identifying best practice methods and processes for use, considering the possible risks which could call into question the quality of the investigation and preventions of such risks.

  • To identify and develop the key skills, capabilities and practices of an effective, productive and quality focused workplace investigator
  • To identify and apply a model of investigative interviewing, including tools of questioning and recording
  • To examine case studies in terms of the best practice process for investigations, developing skills of note taking, analysing and interpreting evidence collated
  • To consider the investigation report content, style and effect
