HR Toolkit

About this course

HR professionals are currently facing more challenges than at any other time in history. A global health crisis, a move to hybrid and remote ways of working, and an economic downturn are just a few of the issues keeping HR professionals busy.

Alongside this, the day-to-day processes and procedures of recruitment, retention, engagement and performance management continue. Hybrid and remote ways of working have become part of our lives and our existing processes and procedures need to be adapted to reflect this change.

Legal Island has created an HR Toolkit that aims to provide comprehensive training to assist HR professionals in Great Britain, in supporting line managers and employees throughout the employee journey. The suite of courses will offer practical advice to assist you in updating your processes and procedures and help you understand your legal obligations.

How long does each course take?

Each course will take no longer than 60 minutes to complete including an assessment. Each member of staff will receive their own personalised certificate upon successful completion.

Recruitment in the Modern Workplace

How we recruit today looks entirely different than it did just a year ago. Hybrid and remote ways of working have become part of our lives and have required us to adapt recruitment processes and find new ways for traditional methods to work in tandem with virtual recruitment. To ensure its workforce has the relevant skills to meet current and future needs organisations must have an effective recruitment process in place. It is not just about hiring the right person for the job. A fast and efficient process can also reduce costs, enhance a company’s reputation, and ensure that the very best talent is brought into the business.

Legal Island’s Recruitment in the Modern Workplace eLearning course is tailored specifically to Northern Ireland law and provides practical advice on how to attract and select the best people in this new environment, whilst also helping you understand your legal obligations to ensure your recruitment and selection procedures comply with the law.
