About Rosemary Connolly
Rosemary graduated from QUB in 1982 with a 2:1 Honours Degree in Law and obtained her Certificate of Professional Legal Studies in 1983. Rosemary holds a Masters in Human Rights and Discrimination Law from QUB and a Diploma in Organization and Manpower Studies also from QUB. She has also undergone Advanced Advocacy Training and is a panel member of the Law Society of Northern Ireland's Approved List of Mediators.
Prior to establishing the practice Rosemary was Director of Legal Services with the (then) Fair Employment Commission with overall responsibility for the exercise of its legal case law duties and formulation of legal strategy. She has been a Board member of the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland and she has conducted courses and conferences on all aspects of Equality and Discrimination Law. She has written and lectured extensively in this field and formerly a member of the Senate of Queens University, Belfast, she is currently Legal Commissioner with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.
She was retained as a Consultant on Equality matters to Lord Clyde the Criminal Justice Oversight Commissioner for Northern Ireland. Her client portfolio includes public sector and corporate bodies as well as private individuals.
