Janet is Service & Development Director with Willis Consulting and Employment Services, a group company of Willis Insurance and Risk Management offering a wide range of HR, employment law, employee benefits and workplace safety services with a commercial focus to clients across Northern Ireland and England from offices in Belfast, Coleraine and Reading.  

A CIPD and CMI member, educated to BA Honours level in Law, Janet is outcome focused and uses her skills and experience to bring a versatile, fresh approach to helping businesses achieve goals and grow through delivery of training, consultancy, practical support and interim management.

Janet has vast experience as a people and business manager, gained through having managed people and achieved results across many industries (including hospitality, retail, manufacturing, education, childcare, professional services and non-profit) in both the UK and overseas.

Known for making a positive difference to businesses of all sizes through provision of client focused solutions, whether it's a one off challenging situation or ongoing proactive support when it comes to people management, leadership and training Janet is known for bringing order out of chaos, putting plans into action and having a keen sense of ‘what works’.

As Service and Development Director for Willis Consulting and Employment Services Janet leads a team of trusted consultants who individually and together have years of experience advising employers, to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions. Their partnership approach means clients have the support they need, where and when they need it most: from an impartial professional to help with a disciplinary or grievance investigation/hearing/appeal to workplace training or a benchmarking project they’re on hand to help. Their partnership approach means they take into account not just legal and best practice considerations, but also the preferred outcome for the client company.
