Frank Cassidy was formerly principal of St Louis Grammar School Ballymena and most recently Regional Officer of the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) in Northern Ireland. The role involved organising management training for school leaders and representing their interests through consultation with local administrators and government committees.
Frank was a founder member of the innovative learning partnership, Ballymena Learning Together, which developed close collaboration between schools in a deeply divided community. He also has a keen personal interest in traditional folk music and cross community music projects. He was awarded a British Empire Medal in 2010 for his contribution to community relations.
