When it comes to hybrid or blended working it is important that, as an employer, you ask yourself three questions:

  • How might a blended model work, with part office-based working and part home-based working?
  • Will all workers who have been working from home return to the workplace?
  • Might some workers become permanently based at home?

Most of us have been thinking about blended working and working life after lockdown and the lifting of most workplace restrictions. These three questions alone throw up numerous legal and practical difficulties.
