The G8 Conference is a fantastic boost for the NI economy and a further opportunity to build on the 'NI Plc' brand, following the successes of 2012 and the City of Culture 2013 already.

However, parts of Northern Ireland will be placed on effective lockdown during the Conference with the visit to Belfast of President Obama a key event. One of the biggest security operations ever seen in NI is being implemented with a number of events being planned in Belfast between 10 -19 June 2013.
