Posted in : Weekly Review of Developments on 15 January 2021 Issues covered: Furlough; Brexit and Immigration; Lockdown; Occupational Pension SchemesA quiet week for employment news, but our bulletin is still fuller than many a post-Brexit supermarket shelf. No panic reading required...
This week's top stories:
- In Case Reviews this week, Jason Elliott BL discusses an interesting wages case in which a Claimant was awarded 100% of her wages for non-payment of pay during furlough, even though no arrangements had been made regarding furlough. In the second, case Jason emphasises the importance of carrying out and adhering to risk assessments for pregnant employees.
- There's still time to register for our Employment Law Revision webinar with Mark McAllister on the 29th January but don't delay as places are limited.
- An eye health
