- In Case Reviews this week, Jason Elliott BL discusses an EAT decision that found that diversity and equality training held only two years previously was stale and could not help an employer mount a 'reasonable steps' defence in a racial harassment case. In the second case, a failure by an employer to permit a companion to ‘advocate’ at a disciplinary meeting contributed to a finding of unfair dismissal.
