- As the Government response to the Coronavirus is ramped up with school closures the SSP regulations are published which enable the payment of SSP for employees who are required to self-isolate and mitigation measures are announced by the Executive – which is timely as temporary lay-offs measures are employed.
- Welcome news for employers this week was the notification that reforms to IR35 are to be delayed due to the Coronavirus. The Presidents of the Employment Tribunals in England & Wales and in Scotland have directed that from Monday 23 March 2020
