Legal-Island scoops EFQM award
Legal-Island are delighted to have been awarded the Mark of Excellence Award at the prestigious Northern Ireland Quality Award Gala Ceremony.
The ceremony, held at the Ramada Hotel on Thursday 27th January, recognises business and other organisations that have demonstrated excellence in their overall performance.
The award we’ve achieved is part of a pan-European recognition system that is administered in Northern Ireland by The Centre for Competitiveness. The different levels of recognition are based on the world class European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model. Businesses benefit from the EFQM’s structured approach to international competiveness. The awards process is fully aligned with the EFQM recognition scheme – the assessment process is uniform and Northern Ireland levels of recognition are comparable with those throughout both Europe and the rest of the world.
Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster, who presented CEO Barry Phillips with our award, said: “Given the dramatic economic challenges over the past eighteen months, raising awareness of how the pursuit of excellence can have a tangible effect on business and contribute towards growth and economic prosperity, has never been more timely… By maintaining a focus on quality, we can ensure Northern Ireland continues to attract new inward investment and win business overseas”.
