Emma has been appointed managing director of Belfast-based Grafton ESP (Employment Solutions Portfolio) with responsibility for delivering recruitment process outsourcing and human consultancy services to companies in Ireland and internationally. Grafton ESP is a new division of the Grafton Employment Group.

Role: Tina will manage all aspects of the firm’s HR strategy and procedures in her new job
Track record: Tina was previously employed by Grant Thornton in Dublin as an HR specialist and before that worked as part of the Northern Ireland Health Service’s HR team. Tina is a graduate of both Queen’s University and the University of Ulster.

Role: Helen joins Bond to continue the development of the company’s financial recruitment division.
Track record: Having spent eight year’s working in accountancy and finance recruitment, Helen has an strong knowledge of the financial recruitment sector in Northern Ireland at all levels.

Paul Moran has joined LG Electronics as HR director, UK and Ireland. He will be responsible for creating, implementing and driving forward the people strategy, with an emphasis on raising the quality of the company's HR service and delivery. Moran joins LG from Rockwell Automation, where he was HR director for North EMEA.

Stephanie Bird has joined the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) as director of HR capability. Bird joins from BP, where she was HR vice-president, talent and organisation capability. She will be responsible for helping the CIPD develop its professional standards, qualifications and routes to membership.

In her new role: Coochey will be responsible for corporate and commercial HR functions across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

She moves to Indesit Company's Peterborough head office from Rolls-Royce, and will report to managing director Enrico Vita. Coochey began her career at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in New Zealand and, after moving to join Deloitte in Auckland, gained experience in a number of different roles in both line and corporate HR activities. In 2005, she relocated to the UK, undertaking a range of HR roles before joining the Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace HR department where she was involved in leading change activity, focusing on leadership development.

Waye, who joins Park Plaza Hotels with a wealth of experience from a 15-year career in HR, will be responsible for implementing and directing the HR strategies across the portfolio in the UK, in tandem with the company’s EMEA directive.

Waye has held various director roles at Hilton, and managerial roles with De Vere Venues, Debenhams, Stakis and London’s Great Eastern Hotel.

The Tenant Services Authority has appointed Fiona Fisher as executive director, HR and organisational development. Fisher joins from charity Amnesty International, where she was director of organisational development. Her new employer is the independent regulator of affordable housing in England.

Jackie Lanham has joined the Co-operative Group as director of resourcing and development. She will focus on leadership resourcing and development, skills development, and embedding the corporate brand. Lanham was director of learning and development at Norwich Union.

Clarks International has appointed Louise Wilson as HR director. She will be responsible for all aspects of the HR function, and will also be a member of the operations board. Wilson joins from Menzies Aviation, the Aviation Services division of John Menzies, where she was head of HR.

Sophie’s role is to manage and develop the HR function and to align staff development with the strategic direction of the company. The role also involves the management of the IIP accreditation process. A graduate member of CIPD, Sophie previously worked for a NI based HR consultancy practice. She also taught Employment Relations at the University of Ulster.

Cara will be responsible for the placement of temporary and permanent financial roles within the commerce and industry sector. Cara obtained a BA Hons in Marketing and Spanish from the University of Stirling and prior to joining Sellick Partnership gained two years experience in the commerce and industry recruitment sector

Joanne will be overseeing senior financial recruitment within the commerce and industry sector at Sellick. Joanne has over ten years of experience in the financial recruitment sector

The National Lottery Commission has announced the appointment of Joy Watkins as the new Director of Resources.

A qualified CIPFA accountant, Watkins trained with the Audit Commission and has previously worked for KPMG.

In her new role, Watkins looks forward to providing an effective and efficient support function for the Commission and says, 'I would like to continue developing the internal capacity and strengthening the strong culture of the organisation'.

Her strong delivery skills will ensure a highly successful transition to her new role at the Commission.

Recently appointed Laura Whyte is responsible for setting the personnel strategy for the John Lewis division including recruitment, retention, personnel policy and procedure, learning and development and driving high performance.

Stephen Kelly has joined Logica as group HR director and executive committee member. He joins from the BBC where he was director, BBC people. Kelly will be responsible for rolling out the people element of Logica's new strategy, ensuring cultural integration across the business.

Jayne joined Legal-Island in early 2008 returning home from a few years working in Scotland.

She is reponsible in Legal-Island for quality of every single event in the Republic of Ireland as well as numerous development projects within the company.

Radek came to Northern Ireland when Poland joined the EU in 2004. He was made a Director of ITC at Legal-Island on 10 January 2009 and became the first Polish member of the IOD in Northern Ireland (and quite possibly the whole of the UK).

As well as speaking Russian and some Bulgarian he is also an accomplished pianist.

Role: Orla will be responsible for human resources across the group, ensuring services and strategies meet the group and individual company objectives.

Track record: Orla was McMullen’s human resources manager for 10 years and previously worked in personnel in the textile and food industries.
