Sharon Smyth is a Branch Manager within the Central Procurement Directorate which is part of the Department of Finance and Personnel. She is responsible for the procurement of common goods and services across the Northern Ireland Civil Service and works on collaborative arrangements with the NI Public Sector. She also has experience in Strategic and ICT Procurement and has carried out a number of medium and high risk Gateway Reviews over the last five years.

Sharon is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply and a member of the Institute of Leadership Management. She has just completed a Post Graduate LLM for Procurement Law and Policy at the University of Nottingham and hoping to graduate in December 2011.
