Peter O'Reilly has been mediating for seventeen years.  He trained with Mediation Northern Ireland and at Eastern Mennonite University. His practice has mainly been associated with peacebuilding and Good Relations, though he has assisted in the development of mediation practice in several sectors including housing, health and local govnance.  Peter has been primarily trained in the transformative approach, though he has used facilitative mediation in workplace and health conciliation cases.

International work has included supprting the development of mediation practice in South East Europe (Macedonia and Albania) and Peter has delivered many trainings and talks internationally (including Vienna, Moscow, Phoenix, Washington).

Peter was, until recently, Director of Mediation Northern Ireland and is now an independent practitioner and consultant.  He has an Honours Degree in Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in Humanities.  He was recently amongst the first small group of those in Northern Ireland to recieve accredited training as Mediation Supervisors.
