Adam Brett is an Employment Partner at Pinsent Masons LLP with over twenty five years experience in Northern Ireland of dealing with employment issues, primarily for employers.

He has had an involvement in significant TUPE cases, such as dealing with the Nortel administration in Northern Ireland.  In that case the Tribunal had to consider a wide range of the resulting TUPE issues including who are the proper representatives for consultation, time limits, what constitutes consultation, exceptional circumstances, the amount of the protective award and subsequently who can be covered by the award.

Adam also frequently advises on the TUPE concerns in mergers and acquisitions of undertakings.  He has a particular involvement in public and private procurement processes, advising at different times each of the public sector, the successful and the unsuccessful tenderers as to the implications.
