Public sector tenders in Northern Ireland was worth over £2.4 billion during the year 2008/2009. While construction and maintenance services account for almost half this amount consultancy, office machines & supplies and energy each accounted for well over 100 million pounds worth of business.
Despite these high values and guaranteed payment many companies fail to make the most of the opportunities presented by the biggest customer in Northern Ireland: the public sector.
This 'Winning Tenders in Northern Ireland' seminar has been designed to provide an explanation of the basic processes and procedures that suppliers need to understand, in order to tender successfully in the public procurement marketplace.
