The past 12 months have witnessed a number of enforcement actions taken against organisations in the UK for breaching data protection legislation. This year will see many important changes for those concerned with data protection in Northern Ireland including new code of practices on data sharing and use of CCTV. The Freedom Bill will introduce changes relating to vetting and barring, DNA retention and biometrics in schools as well as RIPA for local authorities. This full day conference will review all of the important changes and explain how your organisation can best manage data and stay firmly within the law.
