Full Day

During the current economic climate it is more essential than ever to attract, retain and develop key talent that will drive the success of your organisation forward. Success means understanding the elements that need to happen during a recession. Morning speakers include Economist John Simpson, Maureen Walkingshaw from BT and Kevin Dunwoody from the PSNI who will look at how they have engaged with their key talent to lead during difficult times.

Description

This panel of key experts will be available for questions in an open forum session. They will be joined in the afternoon by experts in three areas as follows:

  1. Attracting, Developing and Retaining Talent.
  2. Leading People through Tough Times.
  3. Right Sizing - the Legal Perspective.

What is different?
This is a highly interactive conference. One of the morning sessions involves a live audience survey of current people issues affecting Northern Ireland employers (using modern technology). The survey results will inform the afternoon discussions. Throughout the day delegates are encouraged to engage with experts in open forums and interactive workshops, leading to a learning opportunity for each delegate and their organisation.
