Full Day

Many companies tendering for public sector contracts have an insufficient understanding of the rules and regulations governing the procurement process. This seminar provides an explanation of the basic processes and procedures that suppliers need to understand, in order to tender successfully. It has been designed to cater for beginners, as well as those looking to submit better tenders next time.

Description

About the Seminar

Public sector tenders in Northern Ireland was worth over £2.4 billion during the year 2008/2009. While construction and maintenance services account for almost half this amount consultancy, office machines & supplies and energy each accounted for well over 100 million pounds worth of business.
Despite these high values and guaranteed payment many companies fail to make the most of the opportunities presented by the biggest customer in Northern Ireland: the public sector.

This 'Winning Tenders in Northern Ireland' seminar has been designed to provide an explanation of the basic processes and procedures that suppliers need to understand, in order to tender successfully in the public procurement marketplace.
