All the very latest information you need to know to comply with the new measures and avoid the new monetary penalties now in force. Changes in the law in Northern Ireland in April of this year mean that every organisation must now take very seriously its duties relating to the handling and processing of data or risk a fine of up to £500,000 by the Information Commissioners Office.
From Tuesday 6th April the Information Commissioners Office has new powers to fine organisations who lose or are careless with their data. Fines have been increased from £5,000 to £500,000, meaning companies can no longer neglect to protect people's privacy.
This full day conference aims to explain the responsibility of organisations in gathering, processing & handling of employee or customer data. In the afternoon, three streams have been designed to enhance your knowledge in one of these areas;
