This breakfast seminar will cover trends in Compensation Management through 2009 and will look forward to how reward will likely be shaped in 2010. It will look at trends in base pay, bonuses, non cash benefits and the business drivers for Reward Managers across the public, privat and not for profit sectors.
About the Speaker
| George Alexander has almost 25 years experience of both HR and People Development in both the public and private sectors. He is also one of the few qualified workplace mediators in Northern Ireland. |
Before becoming a consultant he was Head of Human Resources for Bank of Ireland in the UK, overseeing a number of large scale people - related change projects, including large resourcing and downsizing programmes, reward and structure reviews and capability enhancing interventions. His private sector experience also extends to large scale manufacturing while Personnel Manager at Moy Park, Northern Ireland’s largest food company, where he achieved a National Training Award for innovations in basic training.
Since becoming a consultant in 2002, George has advised on HR projects in the Northern Ireland Assembly and the Northern Ireland Office and has provided support to smaller private sector organisations in the finance/insurance sectors and to business start ups. He also has first hand public sector experience in both the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and as Director of Staff Development at the University of Ulster.
George has also owned and managed small businesses in Northern Ireland for the past three years and brings a practical and commercial focus to people related change issues.
He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. He also holds the National Certificate in Workplace Mediation and is a PRINCE 2 Practitioner.
